The Agafay desert and Ourika Valley are the best day trips from Marrakech. Both are under an hour away and deliver dramatic scenery — desert dunes or mountain waterfalls — with time to spare. For a bucket-list drive, Ait Ben Haddou's UNESCO kasbah is worth the longer journey.
